In September 2009 Scarisbrick
Hall group acquired the business of operating Kingswood College
Trust ready to face the educational challenges of the 21st Century.
The school will continue to place the highest value on the
maintenance and further improvement of standards so that all who
have a stake in the future of the school - governors, parents,
staff and pupils - will have confidence in what is being offered.
Building upon the distinguished past the school has the opportunity
to prepare pupils for life, combining a far sighted approach to the
ever-challenging educational needs with the traditional values
which mould the individual character. These values may be age old,
but are still relevant today.
Recent developments include:
- new dance and drama studios;
- new fashion and fabrics classroom;
- new Home Economics and PE theory room;
- new careers and enterprise room;
- relocation of Senior library;
- new toilet / washroom facilities;
- refurbishment of changing rooms;
- refubishment of Reception classroom;
- renovation of school chapel;
- new furniture for Infant and Junior classrooms.
