Key Stage 1
Welcome to Key Stage 1 at Scarisbrick Hall School where we care for children aged 5 - 7 years with one class per Year group. We pride ourselves on having a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel happy and secure, which encourages them to become caring and well motivated individuals.
We have high expectations and place considerable emphasis on reading, writing and mathematics within our creative curriculum. Individual time is spent with each child daily to help develop independent reading skills.We encourage every child to achieve his / her full academic and creative potential through personalised learning.
Our committed and enthusiastic team of staff fosters a close relationship with pupils in order to build confident and independent attitudes. Our creative curriculum is supported by the National Curriculum and is balanced with fantastic opportunities outside the classroom.
At Scarisbrick Hall School, we have provision for a computer in every classroom and access to full ICT suites, including a suite of 25 i-macs.
