Mums in Scarisbrick were swept along in an open top carriage to Kingswood College's Royal Ascot Ladies' Day celebrations.
More than 100 women arrived in limousines and carriages to be
treated to a day of fashion, food and horsing about.
In between Royal Ascot races, the women enjoyed singing with Wigan's Got Talent winner, Scott Chapman.
Former Kingswood pupil, Lansdale Robinson also entertained guests with his magic tricks, while current pupils displayed their horse riding skills.
Headteacher, Eric Borowski, said: 'It was hard work to
organise but it was worth it. The event is to say thank you to all
the mums who do a lot for us through the year but other visitors
came as well. We couldn't have races at the school but our
young, experienced riders performed dressage for the
guests.'
Fashion companies Tatters of Longton and Marc Cain also impressed the audience with a clothges show.
