WHAT do they believe?
WHY do they believe it?
WHERE do they worship?
All these questions and many more are answered in the Religious
Studies course at Kingswood College Trust.
Years 7-9
Pupils learn about the five major world religions, Christianity,
Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism. They learn about their
founders, their beliefs and practices and the major festivals and
rites of passage of each.
Years 10-11
Pupils follow a two year non - examination course studying a wide
variety of moral, social and religious topics. During this course
they will have the opportunity to discuss issues relevant to life
in the twenty first century and to put forward their own point of
view as well as hearing the views of others.
If they wish they will also have the opportunity to follow the AQA GCSE Religious Studies course in Christianity as part of your e3 programme.
