Year 1 Canal trip

A day on the Canal for Year 1

On Monday 2nd June all of Year 1 went on a canal trip. They got onto the barge and took turns to steer. They fed the ducks and did some colouring.

After a picnic lunch they went through a lock and down to the level of the water on the other side of it.

They had a really lovely time and would like to thank Mr & Mrs Bell for the effort they went to, to make Year 1's trip such a success. Alan, the skipper must also be thanked for telling the children lots of interesting facts.
