Year 3 Vikings Day

Year 3 Vikings Day - Monday 21st April 2008

Year 3 Vikings went to the Viking Village at Mere Tun (Martin Mere) on Monday.

We were taken to the village by Finn. We were able to see how the huts were made. It was fun making vegetable stew and oatcakes. We learned how to make felt. Weapons training was excellent. Ragnor(Raj) and Osk(Jessica) were the best 'horn blowers'. We all came home smelling of burnt logs - it was great fun.
